Superlative

Quite lovely. And quite possibly the culmination of this stage of Mr. Fripp's art. I can fully and wholeheartedly recommend this selection of music.
Unlistened yet

Yes, unlistened yet !
That means I didn't but I will...
What I guess - the startings of the tracks let expect an outstanding sound, a very deep feeling and a surnatural presence. Undoubtfully, this album is a great one, I smell it.
PS : "En revanche", listened very carefully to "The equatorial stars " (beautiful) as well as I entered into "The ProjeKCts", considering these recordings as the best stuff in the world in terms they're integrating electric rock, contemporary music and improvisation as a whole.
Thank you also for the down page "sentences" or aphorisms.
François.
But why Estonia?

Robert Fripp's brilliant, as usual. It is interesting however, how did he feel like performing in the country of fascism reKonstruKction?
God only knows

I have so far in the last week listened three times to my copy of "At the end of time" Churchscapes - Live in England & Estonia, 2006.
I listened during a busy Saturday afternoon at home. I listened on a Sunday morning before I dragged my family to our local
Roman Catholic Church for Mass. And I listened before bed when everyone else in the house was fast asleep.
That night only did I observe in the music, beauty, melody, darkness, lightness, air and color. It is a gentle handed music. These are thinkers songs. Dreamers songs. Sad and longing songs. Prayers. Prayers not so much to God... but in search of God. Asking for God. That God within us that is hope and heart, dream and wish. The one God that may just hold us in his arms and make us all well.
Music executed by the hand and the mind of 'Man' with the help of electronic and digital technology and a half lifetime of secular sensory experiences here on this earth.
Children cry, children in grown men's bodies cry. Whose Fathers are gone, whose Grandfathers are gone. whose Mothers are gone.
Children wondering where they will be led next, and wondering what have they to leave behind. What will stay? What will resonate?
What of us will make sense long after we are gone? Our photos? Our journals? Our music? Garbage cans at rest homes and thrift stores are full of these things. These things of such importance to a child... The story of our life... three generations of photographs, the family Bible.
All Crap.
Soon forgotten and tossed aside. Even the great mans greater story eventually becomes a faded hazy memory, held onto haphazardly by others with ideas and agendas of their own.
But then here is a boys song. Here is a boys prayer. Executed only once. Recorded for all who would like to listen in.
This is a very private and personal recording.
keeps getting better!

"It's all too beautiful"
From Mark of Bicester, Oxfordshire, England on .
I had had this on order for over a month so my expectations were really quite high. Did the work meet the expectation? Well, in a word, Yes!! And then some! Sublime comes to mind as a description, so does beautiful, so do a whole host of descriptive words - none of them seem quite adequate. My opinion is that this work is of staggering importance and, quite possibly, the best "Soundscape" to date. Robert mentions in his sleeve notes:".........is to understand them as a personal thanksgiving service, a reflection of faith and music of devotional intent....". Well, could anyone put it better than the man himself?? I just cant stop playing this C.D. In the car, at home - even at work!! Would I recommend this C.D.? Is the Pope catholic????
No pyrotechnics here, sure; but, Mr Fripp, this is outstanding!!!
