The Collectable King Crimson Volume Two
Restored bootleg recording of historic debut gig by the 1980's King Crimson
line-up (then called Discipline), coupled with stunning multi-track
recording from 15 months later shortly after release of the line-up's
second album. Following the implosion of King Crimson in the summer of
1974 Fripp spent some time outside of the music industry but in 1981 he
decided to return to the first division and put together a new band,
initially called Discipline.Although the line-up included drummer Bill
Bruford from the previous KC, bassist Tony Levin (whom Fripp had met when
working with Peter Gabriel) and ex-Zappa, Talking Heads guitarist and
vocalist, Adrian Belew, meant this was a very different band to anything
that had gone before.
Adrian Belew - guitar & vocal Robert Fripp - guitar
Tony Levin - Stick, bass guitar Bill Bruford - drums
