very interesting
From Michal Zadlo of Krakow, Poland on .
Most of the compositions from this album are unfinished, but it's a great pleasure to hear them. A must for fans.
Unfinished business
From Joe Prisco of Snohomish, Washington on .
Indeed; only a handful of these tracks could even be called unfinished songs -- mostly we have some potential song ideas, or even just some promising sounds.
Of particular note is the 'Monster Jam', which is similar to material heard on THRAKATTAK. Of the songs, an instrumental "Sex Sleep Eat Drink Dream" has a bridge omitted from the finished versions, and "One Eye" is very close to the album version (minus vocals, of course).
Most of this I listened to only a few times (they are just rehearsal outtakes, after all), but there's enough to make it a worthy adjunct to the THRAK album.
