Heavy stuff
From JC Clone of San Francisco, California on .
I was fortunate to attend this show and it was the heaviest KC show I have ever witnessed. I remember standing there completely thunderstruck. I thought my brain was going to melt.
Enjoy the recording. It's the next best thing to being there.
excellent show
From Michal Zadlo of Krakow, Poland on .
Excellent show. "Seizure" and "Ghost part III" in their best versions. But it's a pity that this time ProjeKct Four didn't perform 26-min. improvisation of "Heavy ConstruKction", as it was made one day later on another concert in the same place (available to download from DGMLIVE). Absolutely great.
"The Roar of P4" indeed
From Joe Prisco of Snohomish, Washington on .
There are parts I only came to like after hearing them 4 or 5 times. There are portions I could play enough for weeks on end. And there are portions I hear now and wonder, Has that always been there? I never noticed before.
Perhaps all I really need to say is that this was one of the first things I loaded into my new iPod, and my coworkers are very happy not to have to hear it anymore.
Brutal Meanderings
From Joseph McFarland of Manassas, Virginia on .
I'm glad this music was released, but I can't say that I really enjoy it. The initial "ProjeKct Four" release I can get with, particularly "Ghost" which becomes a tight, well-structured electronica piece featuring Mastellotto's beats and Tony Levin's bass, with Fripp and Gunn adding soaring and gothic forebodings to the mix. Here, it is not as tight or well-structured. The playing on most of this release seems unfocused and the CD assaults the listener with an unassimilible wall of noise. I respect the band's intentions, and even enjoy the edited version of what this "ProjeKct" did, but this to me is undigestable.
